Hi, welcome to the P&S site! I’m Dennis Snyder from the Orlando, FL area originally from Dayton, PA. I’ve been interested in the Shawmut since I was very young. My father worked on the P&S a short time long ago, but my grandfather from Timblin, PA worked on the Shawmut many years and retired from it.

I also model the P&S in HO, N, and Z. scale.

The original Pittsburg & Shawmut web site began in May 1996. Various software changes and other changes took place through the years. For many years the site was hosted by Virtual Railfan, the railroad webcam company until 2024 when a system change ended the site. So we immediately started over an independent site using well known Word Press.
